The principal aim of the journal is to provide prompt publication of original works of high quality. The corresponding author is responsible on behalf of all authors for the submission. Manuscripts will be accepted on the understanding that they report original unpublished research from medical and allied areas, and are not under consideration for publication by another journal. All materials submitted will be subject to review by appropriate referees selected by the editorial office. The editors reserve the right to improve manuscripts on grammar and style.

Submissions should be made at https://www.ejmanager.com/my/jmas/. You will receive an e-mailed acknowledgment on successful submission. Prior to your online submission please ensure that the manuscript has been prepared according to the ‘instructions to authors’ of our journal.

  • Cover letter: Summarize briefly the importance of the submitted work and give a statement that the article has neither been published nor submitted for publication elsewhere.
  • Format: Original work and review articles concerning fields of recognizable progress are accepted for evaluation. Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise English (US) and should contain all essential data in order to make the presentation clear.

Number of words (excluding tables and references) should not be more than 3000 for original and review articles, 1500 for case reports and short communications, 600 for view point. Define abbreviations that are not standard at their first mention. Ensure consistency of abbreviations throughout the article.
  • Manuscripts: During online submission, author should enter/upload the content in various fields. (a) Title which should be concise and informative (sentence case) of the presented work; (b) short running title; (c) subject area; (d) summary/abstract which should contain concise and factual abstract (not more than 300 words). Abstract should be continuous without reference numbers or side headings; (e) keywords (a maximum of 6 keywords); (f) full names (expand initials) and affiliations of all authors including full postal address, phone number, fax number (with country and area code) and email address of the author to whom correspondence is to be sent; (g) Main manuscript which should include following sub-sections (i) Introduction; (ii) Material and methods; (iii) Results; (iv) Discussion; (v) Conflict of interest; (vi) Acknowledgments (vii) Source of funding and (viii) References. The pages should be numbered consecutively. Footnotes should not be used. Main manuscript file should not contain author names and affiliations.
  • Figures: Color illustrations are welcome; however, they should be submitted only if reproduction in color is intended. Symbols, numbering and lettering should be clearly legible and of the appropriate size.  Figures should be numbered like Fig1, Fig 2, etc. and should include a caption. Supply captions (not attached to the figure) separately in the manuscript, after references. A caption should comprise a brief title (not on the figure itself) and a description of the illustration. Explain all symbols and abbreviations used.
  • Tables: Number tables consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text. Tables should include a short title. Place footnotes to tables below the table body and indicate them with superscript lowercase letters. Ensure that the data presented in tables do not duplicate results described elsewhere in the article. All tables should be typed using double-spacing.
  • References: In the text, references should be cited in superscripts without brackets e.g. 1-3  or 1, 2 . Limit the number of references to 50 for review article, 30 for original article, 15 for case report and short communication. Citations should follow the standard form of MEDLINE and PubMed style, and the references must be numbered consecutively. Inclusive page numbers should be given. Complete author list is preferred; however, if more than 6 authors, 6 names and et al. can be used. Please provide PUBMED ID and/or DOI if available.
